Remember the Price of Freedom

Let's not forget what's important today on 9/11.

What's really important is your freedom to worship God.

The freedom to love who you choose.

The freedom to choose your spouse (not be told who to marry or traded like cattle).

The freedom to raise your children (if you choose to have them) to have faith, morals, compassion, empathy, and an ethical foundation. To know right from wrong. And to do what's right when no one's looking.

What's important is not to let old prejudices and stories from the news that promote hatred and division to infiltrate our minds and hearts and become a way of life. Do not let the offenses of others dictate your mentality and action towards others.

What's important is to show grace, love, and compassion to one another.

What's important is to know that we've all been given this gift of life, and it's up to us to choose how we are to live it and who we will become.

So on this day of September 11th, let's remember what it felt like when all of that could have been taken from us.

Let's remember our fight for survival. The fight for freedom. And that feeling of unity that United us all with one purpose; to protect and uphold the United States of America, one nation under GOD, INDIVISIBLE, with LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL!

And today, let's remember every man and woman who laid down their life or suffered physical tragedies, to protect our great nation, and to fight for the freedom we all tend to take for granted every day since. Shame on us for taking it for granted.

Remember. Remember who you are. Remember you are meant for more. Remember your life is a gift from The Creator of the Universe, God himself, who chose to give you life. Do not waste it. And do not spit in His face by ignoring him, when all He wants, is to know you.
